In a new national achievement that reflects the excellence of our students across the country, the Directorate of Education in Birzeit and the Ministry of Education honored student Mohammad Samara after winning first place in the National Mathematics Olympiad and qualifying to represent Palestine at the International Olympiad, which will be held in the People’s Republic of China.

The honoring ceremony was attended by the Director General of the Directorate of Education in Birzeit, Mr. Nasrallah Abu Hijleh; the Head of the Examinations Department, Mr. Omar Mahdawi; the School Principal, Mr. Mohammad Hmayel; and his Deputy, Mr. Raed Hamed. All praised this distinguished achievement, which reflects a bright and honorable image of Palestinian education.

The Ministry emphasized that this accomplishment represents the outcome of integrated efforts between the student, his family, and the educational institution, and highlights the true investment in creative minds capable of representing Palestine in international forums.

The pioneering role of the Arab Academy for Modern Education was also highlighted in nurturing gifted students and providing a motivating educational environment built on academic excellence, critical thinking, and serious preparation for both local and international competitions.

In turn, the Academy’s administration expressed its pride in Mohammad Samara’s achievement, affirming that this success aligns with its vision of building a globally competitive generation capable of representing Palestine with the highest levels of competence and distinction.
